Brunch at Hearth

I've always been a fan of Hearth and frequented it when I lived in the East Village. They recently started offering brunch, so J and I checked it out a few weeks ago. I've been so bad about carrying my SLR with me when I'm not working, and often regret it when I happen across a photogenic brunch like this! Nonetheless, I wanted to share some iPhone snaps because I think you guys enjoy my brunch food porn ;).

I have serious cravings for their apple cider donuts, so I can never go to Hearth without getting an order of them. And both of our main dish choices were solid — I had the braised market rapini with poached eggs and J had the roasted chicken salad sandwich.

  6. I saw the photo of the poached eggs and rapini on your Instagram and thought, "Wow, that looks familiar!" My parents and I went for an early Mother's Day brunch a couple weekends ago, and I had a tough time choosing what to order (I went with the eggs/rapini). Those apple cider donuts sounded so good. I'd love to go back and try more items!

I also liked the posters in the bathroom promoting their Summer of Riesling that featured different book/movie characters and why they deserved some Riesling.
